There are different ways to use defense and unit distribution in all castles, outposts.
In this post, I will tell you how to use defense with resources tools for your castles, outposts, which is useful even you are offline.
You can choose regular defense according to your castle's level and equipment value.
Defense using resources tools:
Using resources tools for defense, we can select one flank to defend left or right. as given in the image.
Here you can notice that i used minimum 12 defense tools (flaming arrows) in each slot at one side flank only and also deployment of soldiers to same side 100%.
Unit distribution can be used mostly (given on image)
65% melee and 35% ranged
OR
65% ranged and 35% melee
You can use Sharpened Stakes for moat protection.
Tips:
- 4 tools needed in each slot for defending 1 ful attack of 4 waves.
- Low level players will have 2 or 3 slots at one side, they can also use same defense.
- Using minimum 12 tools in each slot will assure you that you have enough tools to defend 3 full attacks at same time.
- Flaming Arrows tools are better than using rocks.
- When you will stop the attacker at one side of wall, it means the attacker will get 0% bonus for fight, and you can win the battle in courtyard according to your castellan equipment and defender numbers.
You can use same defense and distribution on any one side Left or Right.
